Repox at CARARE 2023: Supporting Access to 3D Cultural Heritage

Repox was proud to participate in CARARE 2023, the annual conference that brings together professionals from across Europe to explore how technology is transforming access to archaeological and cultural heritage collections — especially through 3D documentation. Held as a hybrid event in Den Haag, Netherlands and online, CARARE 2023 provided a valuable opportunity for members of the cultural heritage community to share knowledge, showcase tools, and discuss the challenges and possibilities of making archaeological data accessible and reusable. During the event, Repox presented its work in supporting 3D content curation, storage, and dissemination, including how museums and public bodies are using the Repox platform to manage and publish 3D models in meaningful ways — both for research and public engagement. We were honored to connect with colleagues, learn from case studies, and reaffirm our commitment to open, sustainable, and standards-aligned digital heritage infrastructure. Repox will continue supporting CARARE’s mission by enabling institutions to organize, preserve, and present their 3D heritage assets at scale.
